Gen is here!

well, I figured that since I haven't posted anything in a while, I should do some updates! Gen arrived today, and was nice enough to wake me up at 8:30 this morning- isn't she nice??!!
The weather here has been rainy and sad the last few days, though today did have some sunny breaks, so that was nice. After taking a walk to the harbour, we stopped for a much needed beer and chat- seems like forever since we have got to do that! It was nice to talk to someone who you already know, though there is nothing wrong with talking to other backpackers either!
There are no big plans for the rest of the evening, or for the next few days, but that is okay with me!
Actually, there is one thing that we get to do that is going to be great- we are going to see a Cirque de Soleil- Varekai- performance on Friday night. We had agreed that we would be willing to spend the 110$ to get a decent seat if there were any availabilites...well, we found a ticket office by fluke, and after a short line, we got a great surprise- someone had cancelled their VIP tickets, and we were able to get great VIP tickets (which run for 240$) for 110$ each...good deal! I always knew that we were VIP!
Anyway, gonna jet, and I will write again soon!
