my first go at spinning!

Well, I am now in Gore NZ, staying with a great couple- Biddy and Russell. Biddy is what you would call a fiber guru- man she knows a lot! I have only been here one night and I have already had a go at the spinning wheel, and will be using my first batch of wool/yarn tomorrow- that's right, I am amazing! Actually, turns out that I do not have beginners luck at learning to spin, and my first go definitely is going to need some work- now I have a goal! I have been talking to Biddy about purchasing a spinning wheel, and she has agreed to help me research the best one for me should I decide to buy one (which I likely will- it's quite a good time!) Otherwise things are pretty quiet, which is great! I will write more as my time goes on!
